Island Occupational Medical Resources, P.C. (IOMR) was established in 1995, by Jorge L. Gardyn, M.D., F.A.C.P., to provide high quality occupational medical examinations. IOMR has grown to provide service to more than 400 corporate, environmental and transportation companies in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
We also work with national third party administrators in both the transportation and education areas. IOMR employs professional medical staff to perform all types of occupational medical examinations.
IOMR is available to examine your employees at our office in Amityville. For your convenience we can also arrange for examinations at your facility for a minimum of 25 staff members on weekends and/or evenings.

Additional tests may include: Tuberculosis Testing, Urine Drug Testing, Breath Alcohol Testing, EKG, Pulmonary Function Test, Audiogram, Baseline CBC and Blood Chemistry, Chest X-Ray, Hepatitis B Titer, Mask Fit Testing, and asbestos questionnaires.
